  1. ‘Daisy’ is actually a generic term for various flowers that look like . . . well, daisies. It can apply to gazania, gerbera, ox eye, fleabane, really all sorts of composite flowers in the family Compositae (or Asteraceae). I do not know what these particular flowers are, but it would not be incorrect to say they are daisies.
