That is pretty awesome for Switzerland! Ours do not look that good. Although they are very happy in our climate, they rarely get pruned back, so are commonly overgrown with thicket growth. They get frosted more farther inland. In Santa Cruz, some reach the eaves.

We can only grow them outside in Summer, or in a greenhouse in Winter. The low temperatures and snow with ice kill them.

Yes, I remember learning a long time ago that they are grown as houseplant in most regions.
