We might be ancient
but we are still here
Standing in wind and weather
And we have nothing to fear
Our necks are getting stiff
Not even a scarf to wear
Our legs are feeling cold
feet without socks are bare
But we stand undaunted on our perch
Since many hundred years
We will remain for another centuary
With cold and frozen ears
Thats good fun a poem from the point of view of the statues. I feel I’ve seen them. Where are they?

A nice tribute, and the last line is humorous.

It is not an easy life for a statue

I think my (broken) Flamingo would agree. He should be in the tropics poor baby.

Maybe you need to bring them a few blankets to warm them up! 😉

The others might get jealous. There are about 10 of those statues distributed over the cathedral
