I am not sure of their preferred climate, but it gets quite hot here in Summer, somthey may have a chance

I have balloon flowers too. They have really proliferated since I first planted them three years ago, from a small cutting at my sister’s house! The flowers kept ballooning and then opening up until the end of September! They are shiny when they first open. Such a cool flower!
