Awesome is a word overused often. It is not a word that was used so much in my british days, and some seem to classify everything as awesome. I just say that a view of the Bernese Alps from my Swiss village is awesome enough.
And the stork that chose to build its nest on the chimney of our town’s concert hall: not only awesome but expensive in Winter when they have to remove a ton of material so that the heating functions as it should.
We definitely agree re/ the word “awesome.”

I have stopped using that word as much as I used to. I’ve no idea how I started using it in the first place!

And yet, and yet, it was in England I fully discovered the awesomeness of the word! I have much in my life I consider awesome – the mountains are but one bit of them. Awesome photo!!! 😉

It is still in use? I think of it as a word from the ‘Val’ language that we used in the 1980s. (Yes, I remember ‘Val’.) Like totally awesome! You know that most people believe that ‘Val’ was the subculture of the San Fernando Valley in the 1980s, but they really got it from the Santa Clara Valley.
