I am Ahmed Abdi, a Wordpress blogger and storyteller who searches for stories that inspire people. I love writing because it’s a reflection of how I perceive the world around me. Lost in a world of endless chaos in my childhood, Unforgettable moments of tragedy and triumphs taught me the art of storytelling where I found myself through letter writing and then turned into stories but then sadly had lost everything I wrote for years. I had never seen so many, a real bush in a village garden

I like the mixed colors. Never seen hydrangea in a mixture of colors before. Very pretty!

There are too many cultivars of hydrangeas to keep track of. We grew some back a few years ago, but only because another grower left the region, and sold us their stock to continue on with. I sort of miss when there were only a few kinds of hydrangeas. They used to be very popular in San Francisco because they do so well there.

I believe with hydrangeas it is a matter of having the right kind of soil.

And the climate. They like the cool damp summers in San Francisco more than the warm and dry summers of San Jose.
