What is your favorite color of hair? You can name your hair color or a color that you just like.

Hair

As a teenager I did a few expriments with reddish hair, but just an experiment. Now and again I did a black rinse. Since I have never ever changed the colour of my brown hair, nature did it for me and I am quite happy to let it remain. Here you can see what the hairdresser removed on my last visit.

List at least 5 things that you are good at.

Let us just say Jack of all trades, master of none, although I can speak quite good fluent Swiss German.

What is your favorite animal or type of animal? (pets, dolphins, stuffed, wild cats, etc)

I do not have favourite animals, there are too many.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?

We now have a cleaning lady and she is a pearl. We had problems finding someone, but she is perfect. She spends 2 hours a week cleaning the bathroom, shower and kitchen and does a great job. She even sings when she is cleaning.

Daily Prompt: Inefficient

Apple Computer

These are all the possibilities I have on my apple computer to have efficiency. I have the same possibilities on my Windows computer. It just depends which computer I happen to be working with. I also have an iPhone, which is coupled with my apple computer, so what could possibly go wrong? I have learned over my computer years that nothing is perfect. Computers do not live for ever, although we are led to believe they do. I have lost a few things over the years in mysterious ways and have set priorities.

Most important are dates and times that must be maintained with no exceptions. One of these are my MS injections which I should apply every second day and where I inject is also important. It is not good permanently injecting in the same place as that could cause an infection. And so it goes: right and left stomach, right and left leg, right and left arm and right and left in the most sensitive and difficult parts to reach (no details). If I keep this routine, no problem. My reminders are important, no matter where they are, all electronically guided with a peep, a lit up screen and whatever and this in my Apple appliances. What happens if your computer organisation goes on strike. Suddenly the reminders disappear. Yes, it happened to me once on my telephone and the iPad and computer followed, hanging all in the same cloud. I went for a search in Internet and found that this is a possibility. I managed to re-instate my reminders file, but there were no more reminders in it.

Unfortunately I depend on this organisation and possibilities are not my solution. I have my solution for this inefficiency which could happen. I bought myself a wonderfully bound notebook and when an injection is due I enter the date and place for the next injection. These injections do not cure, there is no cure for MS, but they stop the rapid progression of the illness.

Never rely on a computer, they have human qualities of not always being infallible, after all they are machines made by humans. I always have a backup in good old fashioned writing. A lost telephone number is not so bad, you find it somehow. Just saying.

Daily Prompt: Inefficient

Good Morning

Clouds 25.03 (2)

I am a little later this morning, but had to re-organise my timing as the cleaning lady should arrive this morning. I say “should” as you never know: a quick breakfast and shower and clean through what I can physically clean and here I am. Since my broken leg has decided to attach itself to my body again, things can only get better. I took the photo yesterday afternoon from my garden as I departed for yet another wheelie in my chair. It looked a bit stormy, but the sun was shining here and there, and I could wear my light spring jacket, so what could possibly go wrong. This time I decided to head uphill to the local castle known as Waldegg.

I was not the only one with this idea and notice some happy troopers already on their way. As I am on the road with electricity, I overtook most of them on the way. I notice a sign pointing to the village museum. It is a museum, consisting of one room with a few agricultural exhibits, but nothing spectacular and is situated in a old chalet. I eventually  reached the castle and here is a full photo that I took from the local burial ground.

I moved on to the path leading to the chickens. On this photo you can see the new movable chicken house perched on the grass at the left front.

This time it seems that the chicken was more curious about me and was a little suspicious as I was sitting there taking a closeup photo with my zoom lens.

I decided to make a detour on the way home along the main road and not a direct crossing. The direct crossing to the castle is a bit bumpy for my wheels an so I crossed at the lower part of the road where it is more flat and I can avoid the islands in the middle of the road. When you belong to the walking population you never think of these things. I now have a mental impression of the sizes and heights of road crossings since having my wheelchair. I was rewarded with an  alternative path as behind the fence there are pastures for horses.

This one was particularly curious to see what I was doing. If the weather continues to remain warm they will soon let the cows out and so I will have yet another animal for photos. I seem to live in the middle of a domestic zoo.

I decided to return home, today is another day for adventure. This morning Mr. Swiss is shopping for lunch and this afternoon I will accompany him to the store to buy more food and for the first time I will risk it with my walking stick without my fo. It will help relax the Easter stress. Oh how I dislike these holidays that have closed days in the stores and disrupt the daily life. Even if today is Monday, try to enjoy it all the same, it will soon be the week-end again. Have fun with your computers and enjoy the day. I will leave you with a photo of the village church, also on a small hill, complete with burial ground.
