The first crocus I have seen since last Spring in the local store, but today is 1st February and we had sun all day. The snow has now almost disappeared as yesterday was constant rain and warmer temperatures. It can only get better, my camera is ready and waiting and so am I.
I wonder when mine will stick their little heads up out of the frozen wastes and permafrost… April, I think.

I have two sorts: the smaller ones that appear first of all end February, and the larger variety mid March. It is now too early.

I don’t remember what I planted! I bought a big box of assorted bulbs and just planted them like crazy. Some came up last year and I hope this year there will be more. 🙂

We are suppose to get snow tomorrow…..and today it is cold and windy. Your crocus buds look so beautiful.

We now have a weather change, warmer temperatures, some rain and the snow has disappeared, but it can still snow in March. I was in the store today, but no more crocus left.
