French hybrid lilacs! I used to grow them. They are not my favorite lilacs, but they provide more variety of color, including white! I prefer the straight species (non hybrid) because they have bigger and looser floral trusses, but they do not bloom in white. I could do without the blue, pink, purple and any other unatural colors for lilac, but I do happen to like white along with the traditional ‘lilac’ colored lavender.
