it’s because they are so thankful. They demand no effort whatsoever, the slugs doen’t munch them, they just want some water – and that’s it!

And if one breaks off, just stick it in the ground and it grows again.

Actually, I just got mine a few years ago from a client’s garden. I had never grown it prior to that, although I grew other sedums.

I think I grew up with sedum. My mum even had one in our back yard in Bethnal Green (you can compare it to the bronx perhaps) in London. They are the easiest plant to grow. I remember our tortoise loved the leaves and would always take a bit or two or three when he was in the yard.

There are a few different types, and they are quite variable, so some of us grew them without knowing that they were sedums.
