I saw this little group in front of a restaurant in the early evening.
I chose these protea as being the nearest I know to a fun flower. They look like they come from another planet, almost something from a Stephen King book. They are suddenly springing up everywhere, just like a triffid.
My frog king always has a smile on his face. I think he has fun in my garden.

I am thinking of giving up on flowers and going “all the way” with painted rocks. And maybe a few more flamingos.

Painted Rocks seems to be the new thing. You would never see them in Switzerland, at least I have not seen any up to now. I could imagine them being banned not fitting in our perfect scenery. I will try to get Mr. Swiss interested, he is the artist in the family. I have tons of flowers waiting in the background. Three times a week I am in the supermarket store and take each time at least one or two photos of their new arrivals. They are flowers that I would never see otherwise.

We rescued the frog from the supermarket and he looks after the garden very well. Protea are my favourite flowers, they come in all sorts of strange shapes and sizes.
