Most of my shadows are an effect from the blinds when the sun shines and you notice that I should have dusted up before taking the photo 🙂
This one is from the walkway at the local supermarket
One of my shots from a walk in the village. I never realised until now that I had caught the shadow of the tree.
Nice shadows for the week Pat. I can’t pick a favorite. 😀

When I began to search in my photos I found so many with shadows, it was difficult to pick and I try to limit it to three photos per challenge.

Love the purple glass. Can’t see the dust 😎

Forget the dust, just an optical illusion, should never have mentioned it 🙂

The blue vase is an antique, right? I used to have a couple similar to it — one in yellow and another almost white. That one is a beauty and very fancy. I used to know the name for that kind of glass works. I may yet remember it. Or not.

My grandfather bought it at an auction more than 100 Years ago. It is a brides vase. At the wedding dinner, the bride would deposit the bouquet in if to keep it fresh. An antique dealer informed me, but I don’t think it is of great value.

I have so many photos and found that one by chance.

Each shadow photo is so different from the others, and each is so fantastic. The glass one is striking, and I don’t see the dust either.

I like experimental photos, choosing the extraordinary. I actually have a photo file named “shadows”. The dust shows up as tiny white spots on the black surface where the sun reflects
