I am Ahmed Abdi, a Wordpress blogger and storyteller who searches for stories that inspire people. I love writing because it’s a reflection of how I perceive the world around me. Lost in a world of endless chaos in my childhood, Unforgettable moments of tragedy and triumphs taught me the art of storytelling where I found myself through letter writing and then turned into stories but then sadly had lost everything I wrote for years. In 2018, I decided to create a Wordpress blog site that would allow me to store and retrieve every piece. Almost every village in Switzerland has a group that trains to help in accidents . I belonged to our village group. We help on occasions such as market festivals, dance meetings, sport occasions. I belonged to our village group for a few years. The photo was taken on at a meeting to practice.

I remember my first First Aid training. We were having a (boring) talk when the door opened and a guy stumbled in with blood pouring from his ears (!), turning on himself and collapsing on the floor. It was such a shock. Later we all got our own “victim”, I remember that mine had an eyeball dangling from its socket. It was fun!!

I don’t think our make up catered for eyeballs or ears, it was more cuts and bruises

Munich in the late ’70s … they hired students from the Drama Department, I think. 😄
