This was yesterday, actually the past five years. I wrote yesterday, and do not want to repeat, that I had my Goldilocks removed by my hairdresser. The colour is still the same, nature determines that, but now only a few millimeters long and I am happy. Whether my breains have also diminished in size, I cannot say. They are probably diminishing with age. Things are no longer what they used to be. I have been almost 80 years on this earth and my youthful euphoria is no longer. I am happy to rise from my bed daily and manage the walk to the kitchen for my breakfast. The rest still takes care of itself.
Just a few words about my wonderful hairdresser. She still works in a saloon, three days a week, although is also over retirement age. However, she lives on our estate with her husband and has organised her bathroom as a small hairdresser saloon. I make my appointment and visit her. I make myself confortable in her bathroom and she begins her work. I am so glad, no tiresome waiting in a hairdresser saloon, and we have the enjoyment of a nice conversation. And she has the plesure of removing my hair legacy from her bathroom afterwards.
