No beautiful colourful birds here is my Swiss area. I have never seen a cardinal bird, but can imagine they must be something very striking in colour. Living in a catholic area of Switzerland I must admit I have never seen a cardinal in our cathedral, but they are probably more at home in Rome.

One of my newest requirements in my kitchen is bottle of tomato sauce. I am always on the lookout for refining my cuisine. I usually empty a tin of tomatoes in a sauch for the flavour, but have now discovered the bottled tomato sauce, so decided to include it in my shopping list last week. I have now received a bottle on my online delivery. It is still untouched in the fridge waiting for its debut which will probably be tomorow when I cook my chopped chicken breast in a sauce. I am always ready for new ideas and discovered the idea in Facebook of all places with photos. They often have new cooking ideas and tomato sauce is included. Not wanting to cook a cardinal I decided on an animal friendly soltution.
