Dandelion seeds with a difference: I saw this arrangement on a dining table with a candle to enhance it: plying a bit with the result of the photo, I managed to capture the dandelion seeds in a different light. Althoujgh a little again the rules, there is not veery much growing here at the moment except for layers of snow.

If you want to show the flower of the day and have none, because the flower seson is finished and it is Autumn, you make the most of what you have. Unfortunately this is all I have at the moment. Wheeling along the path at the side of the railway tracks I saw this lonely dandelion seed head hoping to survive to spread its seeds for the next year. At least I took a photo of its last days.

This is a so-called Eurasien blue tit showing its dandelion coloured tummy. We often see them in the garden, mainly in Winter when they are on the search for food.
And here are a few real dandelions from the local field.

We have a twice weekly market in our nearbye town of Solothurn in Switzerland on Wenesday and Saturday. It is mainly for fruit and vegetables. On the first Monday in the month we have the big market where people come from the surrounding villages with all sorts of goods. Clothing, ornaments and various plants. I saw this heather on a stall on the market. I don’t know if it had been coloured or not, but I think it was a special breed. Yellow is not a heather colour usually, but these days you can get everything.
Anyone for grapefruits? I saw these in the local supermarket.
