Can you see it? Yes it is raining, we have wet after a few months. The timing was right. I was sitting quietly at my desk and heard a thumping noise. Not so good, as it was the noise of the rain thumping on my sun blind. However, that will dry again, and my plants are no longer hanging out their leaves to find a drop of water. The water has arrived again. After five minutes it stopped raining, but no worry. Half an hour later it began again. The timing was good, no pitter patter, but thumping noise as the rain hit the hard dry surface of the garden.

I somehow have a feeling that I should do a rain dance to celebrate There is even a cool breze blowing, although I should not get excited. The weather report tells me tomorrow again hot, hot, hot. However it seems just 30°C instead of 34°C which means that slowly but surely we are returing to a normal Summer and not the tropical conditions we have had. I have never been so happy to see rain, feel it and even smell it.
