This chair, a de Sede, has been in my son’s room for many years. However, no longer as fresh and good as it was. I remember when my husband bought the set of two chairs and a sofa. One chair I have still, now in my bedroom and in good condition. The sofa is also still in use. Today my son and his family were on a visit, it was decided that it was really time to say goodbye to this relic from the passed days. At the next opporunity we will say goodbye to the chair and it will be given to our collection of unwanted goods. Sometimes you look at the same object day for day and then someone sees it with other eyes and you realise it is time to say goodbye. I have a worthy replacemen. Also a de Sede, but more modern and in perfect condition. You grow accustomed to something and suddenly realise it is time for it to be shifted away.
