The days of walking to the store are now few and far between for me. When I was still driving it was no problem. Just buy what is needed and pile it in the boot of the car. This is no longer possible – no car and not so mobile and so I had to find a solution. Mr. Swiss is now in a golden oldie home and my son is working during the day. My other son lives on the other side of Switzerland, so I had to find a solution and then online shopping arrived. It is very well organised here. I can order everything from the store chain online and determine when it will be delivered, if possible. Usually it works quite well. I make the order on Tusday for delivery on Friday and this has never been a problem. If there is a national holiday, I just re-organise.

The order is brought by a chauffeur to the door and all I have to do is distribute it when it arrives. I can also order frozen goods if necessary and I can return the various packing material at the next delivery. For me it is ideal in my situation- Payment is also effected online by card. I have been doing this for at least 5-6 years.
