This is completely new in my garden and there it was, flowering with little white flowers. I have never seen it before, but my computer tells me it is called Bedstraw. I also do not know this name, so am not quite sure. It is very pretty despite its fragile appearence.

The same species grows wild here. It is edible, but not very good.

It was a suprse when I saw it in my garden, I have never seen it here. I hope it is not to invasive.

We have it growing wild in the meadows around here, both flowering white (Galium alba) and, with a beautiful sweet scent, flowering yellow, Galium verum, in English “Lady’s Bedstraw”.
