Actually we are a smoke-free family. I do not smoke, my sons do not smoke. Because Mr. Swiss no longer lives at home but is in his golden oldie home, and at the age of 86 he still smokes, if you can call it smoking. It seems to be it is just a pasttime that he has, but an expensive pass time. Basically I do not spend money on this expensive hobby, he usually gets his cigarettes from his daughter, but she is at the moment on holiday, so he gets them from his golden oldie home.
I smoked many years ago, but since years no longer. I find it a waste of money, which could be put to a better use. Yes, I have become a distinct anti-smoker to the extent that today I walked away from my husband and left him in his golden oldie home to smoke his cigarette alone. My patience is exhausted. He could pehaps pause this ridiculous habit, but he tells me I am being unreasonable and stupid and I can no longer watch this game. So now I have let my steam escape, perhaps I am being unreasonable but I grew out of this stupid habit many years ago and today have absolute no understanding.
I don’t blame you. I used to be a smoker many years ago, but it is a vile habit.

I began spoking when I was 16 years old. They were different times then and after the war I think most of our parents were smokers. I eventually gave up but I never smoked when I was expecting my children.

I just find it a silly habit now and an expensive one.
