There are so many useless would be emperors looking for a new job, I think one challenger would not be enough. I do not want to name names, but there are many world governments where their prime ministers will soon be looking for a new job. If they get the job, they will no longer be in our world at last.
Although they usually blossom in blue, I have one plant that always produces white flowers. I do not know why, I first noticed this about 5-6 years ago, it must have lost its colour somewhere on the way, although I quite like it.
We are quite conservative in Switzerland and I remember when my Swiss mother-in-law told me that hanging washing in public on Sunday was not really permitted. It was just not done, but this was 50-60 years ago and times changed. Today you hang out your washing on any day, dependent on the weather. Today is ideal, in the middle of a heat wave, it dries within an hour. My neighbour has already removed the washing line and probably put everything away. It does not bother me at all.
The heat is not so good for my plants in the garden. In my herb bed the sage is flopping its leaves. Hopefuly it will all be over tomoroow – according to the weather forecast.
