Having a computer corner can be quite useful, for yourself. However when others think that the electronic world is the solution to everything, it can go too far. At the moment I am dealing with one of our local governement departments, and they are under the impression that we are all Bill Gates followers. To a certain exent I can do it, but I really do not have to complete all documents electronically with set descriptions. which I do have a problem to understand now and again at the age of 80, especially if they are in our countriy’s language of German. They did add somewhere that they would also send it by snail mail if we would have a problem. I passed on the problem to my son No. 2 who is more an expert than I am – and his German is better. Being on oline is useful, but sometimes very much impractical.
