What do you do with so many ties. Mr. Swiss needed them when he was in the work force. It was uniform in the office, and I suppose the more you had the better it was. When there was a special occasion, a wedding, birthday or something similar, you got a new tie. If they had a special name such as Gucci or Ermani, even better. They were something special. And now they hang in the cupboard and no-one wants a tie, Mr. Swiss definitely not. I asked No. 2 son, but he also has no use, although he did take a few for his wardrobe, but I am sure he does not wear them. Even the Ukraine leader, Mr. Zelensky, did not wear a tie when meeting with Trump. Although why should he?
No ties are not longer in, a t-shirt and jeans also do the job. Any suggestions what I can do with 100 ties that no-one wants.

Donate them to a charity, maybe a second hand clothing store.

In our small market town we have no such stores unfortunately.

I have seen people weave them together to make other garments or bags. Perhaps there is a local art and design college close by who could collect and use them?

Perhaps I might try that. The ties are goiod quality and many are silk.
