28 years ago my schoolfriend and I celebrated our 50th birthday, yes times fly. We went through our high school together, but always kept in touch afterwards. And now we were 50 years old, she is just four days older than me. She lives in London and I live in Switzerland, but we often visited each other. My dad was still in England and I could always stay at her house when visiting. It was a jubilee for us both and our names (Pat and Sandra) were also on the cake. Although I no longer travel and she also not so much, we are still in touch over our computers.

So many years ago – our next big birthday in 2 years when we will be 80, but we will not be celebrating together, too far away.
