Yes I have a genuine honey pot, although it is rarely filled with honey. I have no idea why I have this, but it was probably something retrieved from my mother-in-law. It even has a bee on the lid and I must say it has some lovely decorations. I am sure a bee would be proud to have the honey kept in this pot.
I do like honey very much, although not something that suits my diabetes, but keeping honey in this pot would be a bit messy, so it lives in our cupboard.
RDP Thursday: Honey Pot
I was going to suggest it could hold candy, but then read about your diabetes. Nope.

Although I must admit I do not always take the diabetes thing so seriously. Luckily I do not have to inject, but just take tablets.

My husband was the same but had to prick his finger to test each day.

I also did a finger prick, but do not bother anymore. I have to pay for the medicine or the test and it is almost always the same, so I no longer bother.. When I visit the doc she always does a long term test which actually gives better results than the daily test. Actually according to the last test, it is looking good, but she said I must still continue with the tablets.
