This is the big sister of the rudbeckia. They are one of the last to flower in my garden in Summer and now they are doing their work. They are quite tall and the flowers are slightly larger.

My apples are now looking quite good and are beginning to change their colour to more red. I decided to try one, so I took a bite. However, it waws still a bit hard and sour, not exatly ready for eating.. This did not bother the wasps and when I took another look I saw they were busy having an apple feast.
Thnis wasp had found the second apple and is taking a look.
