FOWC with Fandango: Insomnia

One thing I noticed in my life with three cats, (here are just twio) cats never suffer from insomia. However they are immediately awake if they hear the sound of a tin opener – must be a secret signal.

I do not bother with my own sleeping patterns. Why should I? I go to bed, close my eyes and often I am asleep within half an hour. I might awake in the middle of the night, with a natural need, but after a quick visit to the toilet I am back in bed. Perhaps I sleep immediately again, and perhaps not. I live alone, my son goes to work during the day, so what’s kthe problem. After luinch I am again in bed for an hour for my midday sleep.

I would add that I have a bedside table which has my iPhone, my iPad and my Kindle on it. If I really cannot sleep, then a quick look in my phone to see if there are any interesting messeges, or perhaps even in Facebook for a few quick jokes. I do not bother with my iPad so much, the same as my iphone really. if my night life really gets boring, then I always have my Kindle to read in my cuirrent book. Insomnia is no longer a problem for me. I do not have to go to work, so why bother.
