Snow

And it snowed again last night, tons of it, too much actrually, However we had a few intersting photos of its effect on the garden. Here it had settled on the spirals I use for rose supports.

Here someone was peeping through the snow.

But it laid thick on the garden They even foud a dead fox in one garden. I hope that this snow curse is now over. I have never seen so much snow in 1-2 days. I even got a report today about my online food delivery. They are doing their best to deliver everythiung, and have extended the deliver time until midnight – big deal.

  1. We have not gotten any substantial snow in several years, but given the weirdness of weather, this year could be different. Much as I want a more normal climate, I do not miss all the ice and snow and slippery roads. Poor fox. Poor birds, squirrels and all the other small furries that live nearby!

I’m not feeding them much right now because there is a super abundance of natural food in the woods, but as the weather turns, there will be more food for them.

Snow is so beautiful to look at. Pity it is such a major inconvenience, especially as we age and fear of falling has become such a big deal.

    • We got a record amount in Switzerland, There has never been so much covering the country in November. Temperatures were also down to -5-6 F but I am well organised with online shopping and I have everything I need at the moment. The weather should get better and next week temperatures are back to 10° C so there will be the big melt. I am glad as I want to do a bit of Christmas food shopping next month; nothing special, but my cleaning halp will go with me with her car. She is a wonderful lady and I am glad for her help.
