It is not an easy job when you have to fight a fire in town. It was one of those moments when I arrived in town and found that one of the attick appartments in the roof had began to burn. The firemen were already there and so I joined the corwd naturally with my camaera. No-one was harmed, except for the owners pride of the apartments.
RDP Saturday: Tough
Can’t hit “Liked” on this one. Too tragic. Was just the attic apartent burned, or did the entire building go? How close was this to your house?

Winthin half a year the flats were again rebuilt and people living in them again. Not very good, but in Switzerland we are all insured. This was in the town of Solothurn, Just a 5-10 minute journey along the road from the next village where I live.

Thanks for asking. I am not too bad, although MS is a beast as long as there is no direct cure. However, thanks to my injections, I can keep it in check. Mr. Swiss is now progressing with his dementia unfortunately and I am glad that he is in a good care home. It is not an easy situation and something I have never had to deal with.

It was just the apartment, not the whole house – in Switzerland they do seldom build with wood. Stone buildings do not burn down completely as easily.

Physically no-one was hurt, but probably metally.
