Some may have noticed that I am no longer here so much. I am not getting any younger, and my health is no longer as it was. I will not be writing so much, if at all. It was great to meet you all and I enjoyed my time here, but all good things come to an end.
I am now in the process of transferring to a senior home, although it will take time and my son will be assisting me in my change. I am still registered with Word Press but will no longer be renewing my mambership when the time comes.

Oh, Pat….Happy Belated Birthday to you. This ‘not getting any younger’ thing is for the birds. I have enjoyed all these years with you and the kitties, but transferring to a senior home seems like a smart move. However, I will miss you.

I have so enjoyed your Chronicles over the years and a highlight of my blogging experience was getting to meet you in Basel and enjoy a few hours together! My blogging and travel have slowed, too. My husband and I moved to a retirement community nine months ago. So far we are completely independent and enjoying having less responsibility, meeting new people and participating in a variety of activities. I think you will enjoy it, too. I hope to still see you on Facebook and wish you the very best. Susan

I have enjoyed reading your posts and looking at your photographs. Wishing you good luck with your move. It can’t be easy leaving your home, but you have to think of yourself and I’m sure you will feel much safer where there are people to make sure your health issues don’t cause you unnecessary falls etc.
