FOWC with Fandango: Stab

In Switzerland you cannot just build, it must be permitted. How can they permit something when it is not yet finished. No problem, you plant an outline to show how high and wide it will be. This is done by planting poles (stabs) in the ground where the bulding will be. You then have a good idea whether it will be suitable for buiding.

Although this means that everyone has a few months time to disagree with the new building. It might not fit in the surroundings, you never know. In Switzerland you cannot just build anything. We Swiss can be quite fussy about what will appear. This building was permitted and it was completed a few years ago. I could show the finished building, but that would mean that I would again be using my allotted space on WordPress. We really have to be careful here. Even this photo will disappear in a few months, it would not fit in the allotted files for my writing.

RDP Saturday: Run

Why run when walking does the job just as well. I can no longer run. My walker does not allow for running steps. I have to push it when I take a step, but it serves its purpose.

I was never an expert at school in a race where you had to run to get in the front line position. I would be the eligible victim if someone wanted to catch me. I think my chances today would be to fall and injure myself if running.

I took the photo whilst taking a walk along the opposite river bank, note “walk”- It seems the runners were in a hurry to get to where they were going.

By the way, a few words in my own thing. Yesterday I deleted a few thousand photos from my WordPress files. WordPress had warned me for some time that I was completely over the limit. Of course I could increase my quote by paying for the extra space, but at the age of 78 it would be stupid. As my files were reducing to an allowable amount they were still prompting me to pay more to enable me to show videos etc. They are really just after the money. I now have a photo in my allotted space as above. In a few weeks this photo will also disappear. I do not think that my followers will be reading my writings again as time passes. I will keep an eye on my quote and keep it under control.

I wonder if my Html pingbacks will function again, although I do not think they will. Yes, WordPress moves in mysterious ways.
