It was April 2008 when I bought eggs at the supermarket. I know it so exactly because the date is on the photo. I arrived home and began to unpack my goods. However when buying eggs, you should always be careful how they are packed and something heavy was resting on the eggs This was the rsult when they were unpacked at home. I think I rescued two of the eggs, otherwise the remaining eight had become shells and the what belonged in the shells. I think on that day that omelette, or perhaps pancakes, were part of the evening meal. Luckily it was a few years ago when eggs were not a sign of wealth. Today at the price, I would not have been a happy person.
Yuck! Yes, one always needs to be sure eggs are transported safely. My husband thinks I’m too fussy about eggs and bread, but I don’t like cracked or squashed.
