RDP Wednesday: Lunch

I do not really bother so much with lunch, just something quick and mainly what is available. The photo shows asparagus with dried meat and a sauce, although that is really an exception. Asparagus is not always avaiable and I usually make it for a small dinner in the evening perhaps with my son.

Otherwise I am alone at lunchtime and just eat to survive. it is often a quick fry up and afterwards I am off to bed for an after lunch time sleep. I usually cook dinner in the evening when No. 1 son is at home.

  1. I sleep through breakfast and considering how hot it is, usually have a yogurt for lunch. I’ve been baking chicken thighs and we’ve been eating them in bread as sandwiches. You seem to have a better selection of cold meats than we do, so I have to sort of “make my own.”

    • I look forward to my breakfast in the morning. First of all I have the habit of cleanig through the windows in the morning, organising the kitchen and making myself a cup of tea (made with genuine tea leaves and not in a tea bag) and a slice of bread, butter and jam. Then I am ready to attack the day after a shower.
