I had never heard of this phrase before. We have few beaches in Switzerland, just on our lakes. We have no sea or ocean. However, I had a look in my archive, and yes, I found glass samples. The are from our annual Christmas show at the local castle. I had simply forgotten that I had this photo – so I suppose you could call it Castle glass.
