I suppose it could be quite tempting to snatch something from a market stall. No-one looking and many ineteresting trobphies. However, not something you would actuall do.

It reminds me when I was once in a supermarket and just beginning to leave with my shopping. Suddenly I saw the manager, a young man, and he stopped another man (middle aged) of leaving the store. He had seen him stealing articles and confronted him with it. That guy tried to escaspe from the manager, but the manager blocked his way out of the store. I was watching the whol event and noticed how the guy that stole the stuff became so nervous, that his complexion turned white. I am sure it was the first time he had done this and certainly did not expect to be caught. The whole action shocked me: It was almost like something from a film. No, scnatching does not pay.
