This afternoon they let me out again. I actually went to tow and for a change have a photo of a real genuine tulip in a store.. How good to see something else for a change.

The secret life of a tulip

Let us continue with the tulip fantasy.This tulip did suffer a little from the continuous rainy weather we had, but it survived although looking a little different to the others.

The first tulip has arrived.

My strange tulip decided to open up at last. It is in a bed of red and yellow tulips but this one decided to do something completely different with a pink tinge at the edge of the petals.

I have red tulips and yellow tulips in my garden from a planting I did some years ago. Somehow a white tulip with a pink edge appears every year. I did not plant it and I have no idea where it comes from, but nature often moves in mysterious ways. I am reminded of this fact every years when it suddenly appears.
