Poinsettia have flowers within flowers it seems – the inside life of a poinsettia.

I could say the return of the poinsettia. Christmas is approaching and the stores are full of them in their various shapes, colours and sizes. I had a visitor yesterday and she brought this with her knowing that I like them very much,.

It is a bit out of season, but mine is still looking good almost two months after Christmas. The amaryllis leaves are keeping it company.

I always have a poinsettia at Christmas, but this year having Mr. Swiss away in hospital and now for a cure I did not bother. He will not be back home until after Christmas. However, a wonderful neighbour visited me and brought me this example complete with glitter. It really helped to lift my spirits.

Christmas comes quick enough and it seems that some stores just cannot wait.
