They are really the easiest plants to grow: almost need no water and have wonderful flowers. If a branch might break off, just put it in a glass of water and within a few days it has roots. You do not really even need the glass of water, just put it back in the earth and it begins to grow again.FOTD 28th November 2021: Kalanchoe
It is really looking tired and dismal.
At least there are a few tired buds hanging on, although I am not sure if they will flower. This one did, although the original colour was red, but it is now looking a little washed out. However, I found a flower today for the challenge. I will keep the plant and see what happens during the Winter. It had flowered all through the Summer.FOTD 5th November 2021: Kalanchoe
A simple flower, but one of my favourites.
One of the easy to keep plants. They need almost no water and flower for a very long while. If a stalk breaks, just put it in the pot and a new plant grows. What could be better.
The many colours of kalanchoe.
One of my home plants. Kalanchoe seem to flower for an eternity.
Just love those little flowers.
Needs hardly any water, remains for weeks and can easily be grown from cuttings. What more can you want, and it is very pretty in its various colours.
A selection of kalanchoe
One of my favourites. They do not cost very much, flower for a long while and reflower, and you can grow your own from the leaves. They also come in many colours. I have a few at home, they are ideal for growing indoors.
