It seems we still have enough eggs to sell “free range eggs direct from the farm” tells it all. I see the hens regularly and some times they take the free range words quite seriously and they might crawl under the fence and begin to explore the range they have.

This looks like a family excursion.

Of course I also have eggs, bought at the local store. I cannot be bothered to colour them myself and these six will cover our needs. I remember when all four kids were at home we would have an egg painting session with all sorts of designs and colours, about 20-30 eggs, but those days are gone. I now leave it to my son and his family to cater for needs with my grandchildren.
