Do not ask me. It is so odd, that even I did not have a clue. It was a pole next to a wooden hut and it lookes like there is a key hanging on it at the end – who knows.
Masts in a field in a place called Subingen. We had to pick up something in a store and whilst Mr. Swiss was busy I took a walk with a camera. Jura mountains in the background and some sort of electric pylons at the front, but I do not know what they are there for. Our telephone and television cables all go underground. Perhaps they are just there to take a photo.
Looks like someone was have a clear out. If I had had the possibility, I would have taken a couple of armchairs, instead of just a photo.

A robot gas station perhaps.
Am not sure what was floating here, but it could be the beginning of a science fiction book.
Am not sure about that one and decided not to ask the guy what the axe was for.

Meet the frog king. He spent the winter in the cellar, but is now back guarding his territory in the garden.
I have no idea what this lonely chimney lookalike is doing overlooking our local river, but I am sure it has a purpose somehow.
Dogs have more toilets along the path, than humans. If you dog feels the urge, take a plastic bag, dispose of the recycling material and put it in the bin. Bravo doggy. It is regularly collected.

There is a moment when the sun shines and in this moment your chair casts a shadow. At the same time you grab the camera and capture the moment in time – or is it a chair? Perhaps we were being attacked – ET was here.
Anyone can build a wall, or a fence, but the Swiss: they do it with feeling.
Now what is this? If a baby is born to a family they like to announce it by placing a decorative post with the name of the baby on it where they live. I took this shot, not showing the baby’s name, but you have pleasure of seeing our local castle in the background.

On my way back from a walk to the river, I always pass a neighbour’s garden on the edge of the village. He had wrapped up his plants lovingly to protect them from the Winter frost. It really looks like something extraterrestrial.
The sign at the bottom “zu verkaufen” means to be sold, but I am not sure if they meant the cat or the chair. And the cat? No it is not real but in the shop window, Mr. Swiss drew my attention to it and found perhaps we could buy it as company for our Tabby cat.
The chimneys on the house opposite.

I was actually taking a photo of what was behind the fence, but my focus did something else and turned the photo into an odd ball.
A natural odd ball
Always make sure you have enough wood in Winter for the fire.

A restaurant sign in Solothurn, Switzerland
He was parked next to the bank -perhaps he was collecting their gold bars.
Strange things in the kitchen.
