Fiction Writing
I am Ahmed Abdi, a Wordpress blogger and storyteller who searches for stories that inspire people. I love writing because itâs a reflection of how I perceive the world around me. Lost in a world of endless chaos in my childhood, Unforgettable moments of tragedy and triumphs taught me the art of storytelling where I found myself through letter writing and then turned into stories but then sadly had lost everything I wrote for years. In 2018, I decided to create a Wordpress blog site that would allow me to store and retrieve every piece. Stories from my community, city and people are what make my writing so interesting and inspiring! Iâm a tea lover so a cup of tea sometimes makes my blog.

That’s what always say, but it does not remain with just one more.

And you begin to run out of room on that big table. I’ve got 6 orchids, but I also have two cactus, a huge aloe, another big succulent and a mixed batch of plants one of which is an ivy that is at least 10 feet long and which I will have to cut back soon. Best will in the world, there really isn’t any more room. I’d have to get rid of something if I get anything more.

I have a garden full of ivy which is OK as it stays on the borders and my slug visitors donât like it

I had never seen one in that colour before

I’ll have to look for that color; it would go great in my small collection.

It was the first time I had seen that colour.

That’s a new one for me, too. Never seen an orchid that color. But until Garry brought me my green orchid, I’d never seen a green one either. I wonder how many colors orchids can come in?
Mine change colors too. The one that is now purple was a dark purple with a purple center when I got it. The next time it bloomed, it was white with a purple center. This time, it’s violet with a white center. I have other flowers that change colors, the the changes in the orchids can be startling. I never know what they will look like until they actually bloom.
I’ve got two more finally setting buds. No idea what color they will be, but I’m betting on white.

At the moment budless but they are probably having a rest.

Let me know if any of yours change colors. Apparently many flowers can do it, but these changes have been dramatic.
I’ve got two big ones blooming and two that are thinking about it.

They mainly stay the same colour, but I think it can happen when they are over bred

My purple one has switched colors three times. The others have had the center change color, but not the blossoms. It could be over-breeding, but many flowers — like tulips and crocus — do it just to confuse you.
