Fiction Writing
I am Ahmed Abdi, a Wordpress blogger and storyteller who searches for stories that inspire people. I love writing because itâs a reflection of how I perceive the world around me. Lost in a world of endless chaos in my childhood, Unforgettable moments of tragedy and triumphs taught me the art of storytelling where I found myself through letter writing and then turned into stories but then sadly had lost everything I wrote for years. In 2018, I decided to create a Wordpress blog site that would allow me to store and retrieve every piece. Stories from my community, city and people are what make my writing so interesting and inspiring! Iâm a tea lover so a cup of tea sometimes makes my blog.

Itâs nice to see them again but their roots can play havoc with the ground

It is still too cold for anything but crocuses. Another couple of weeks and then … everything should start to bloom.

The crocuses are gradually finished now and the daffodils are in full bloom. Now the tulips are getting ready, the weather is a bit of everything, April is coming and does what it wants.

I grew up thinking Switzerland was sort of like the arctic. Too many movies about Heidi! Now I realize that we are much colder in this area than YOU are! We are still at least a week, maybe two, before we see our daffodils.

Our winters can be cold.and icy, but there are plants that need that to grow. In Spring things begin to get warmer and we have quite hot Summers

I love dandelions! They give nectar and pollen to hungry bees and then seeds to hungry finches!

That is true, but their roots can get in the way.
