This is the so-called Kreuzacker Bridge in our local town, but with only a few pedestrians. Traffic is forbidden on this bridge. it was not made for cars. However now and again you might see a car crosing the bridge. That is when everyone starts to point and shake their heads. It is usually a foreigner that has mistakenly taken the wrong way. Luckily no-one has caused an accident up to now.

RDP Monday: Radiate

Just a ten minute train journey from our town, in the village of Gösgen, there is enough rwadiation for all to see, at the side of the railway lines. Yes it i one of our Swiss nuclear power plants. Of course we are assured that this is just steam and nothing radio active or dangerous, so like all others we believe them. A few of our power plants have been switched off, but not this one. After all it is a good subject for a few photos when passing. I used to visit my family in England annually in the past years, and yes, you can see the stem ascending through the clouds from the plane. It is still radiating today.
