And another little bud appears. This time the helleboruns has arrived. The lent rose usually arrives in Februar. The Christrose is the first but this year everything in the garden seems to be mixed up with the early spring weather. However today we had snow and it was cold. The snow has now changed to rain, but it seems this week the Winter returns.

i love them. bought a large-ish pot of them and have it outside on a table. the ones i planted in my tiny garden, are nowhere to be seen but i hope they’ll turn up a bit later. they are covered with twigs from firs.

My lent roses have spread everywhere in the garden, but are not a bother. They flower early in the year and otherwise just sit there with their leaves.
