I seem to have a déjà vue with this prompt, as I think I wrote about Switzerland being just one big border in the mddle of Europe with a piece of land within the borders to qualify it as a country. And what was parked outside our local police headquarters – a border patrol car, although the town of Solothurn where I live in a small village next to it, is not on a border. The only borders the Kanton of Solothurn has are with the Ksntons of Bern and Aargau, also Basel. So there you have it, even a Swiss country town has borders, even if they are in the same country.
