I was doing some organising today and found this in a box, with some other rubbish. I had to examine it carefully as I really did not know that I still had this one. It is my first Swiss Identity Card dated in 1984. I can show it here as these sort no longer exist. They have long been replaced by a small plastic credit-card type of permit of course. The old paper editions no longer exist for many years. I just ordered my new card, the third in my Swiss life, and recived it this week. It was proof that I was qualified to become a Swiss citizen (due to my marriage with Mr. Swiss). I got the nationality automatically with my marriage, although today the law has changed. Women now have to wait, as the men, for a few years before they can become Swiss. I will not show the other side of the card, too much personal information, although I look quite young on the photo.

RDP Wednesday: Spooky

Down in the cellar we have a few rooms. There is, of course, the cellar itself with odds and ends of rubbish that no-one really wants, but you keep them in case. There is also the laundry room with the washing machine, and also my mega large deep freezer. Of course now and again I have to fetch food from the freezer. There is also our hobby room which is mainly cupboards, book shelves and unwanted objects that I am gradually clearning out. Howeeer, to get to these places you have to go through the verious passages in the cellar which can get quite spooky, especially if it is evening and there is no-one there.Everything seems to lead to dark places. I have never seen a spook up to now.
