I am not very good at moon photos, but this was in the middle of the afternoon and it was shining in the sky. It did look as if it was in the wrong place at the wrong time and I even got a few details on the surface for a change. I think the sun was helping a bit.

I just love it when the moon is visible in broad daylight. I like the tops of the trees in the foreground. Then there’s the wisp of clouds. There’s a lot more to this photography if you take an extra minute or two to look at it closely. Brava!
