Our town is full of lanterns, but this one is a carnival lantern. In the evening it is illuminated and it covered with illustrations from the current carnival motto. It would be a little difficul to translate as it is all in Swiss German dialect and are more inside jokes of the year. Of course I understand it all, but you have to have the feeling for the carnival jokes – I suppose.
