Today we had a small casualty. One of our cranes lost half of itself. I saw this as I was sitting in the garden of Mr. Swiss golden oldie refuge. When I arrived home I took a closer look.

And there it was all curled up on a truck ready to be taken away. Its job was done and it was no longer wanted. However we still have one crane left which you can see in the background. That will meet its maker tomorrow. We have already received a letter to say that half of our through road will be blocked during the morming for the removal. Today was just a practice with the small crane, but tomorrow it will be the big removal and I will be ready with my camera of course.
